Iceland

Iceland

Iceland is an island country located in the North Atlantic. It is a sparsely populated island that is home to around 328,000 people. The country is often referred to as the Land of Fire and Ice as it has both glaciers and active volcanoes and volcanic springs, often within close proximity of each other. Probably, that's the reason why Icleanders move back home, who on earth wouldn't love fire and ice both at the same time?

It can be a lot of hassle dragging your luggage onto planes and public transport. This can be avoided if you send your luggage to Iceland using Courierpoint. Personal effects are normally considered to be used items that have been in the sender's possession for 6 months or more. The majority of countries offer consignees a duty-free allowance for shipments made up of personal effects. You need to show customs officials that your shipment consists of personal effects. If brand new or commercial items are found by customs in Iceland, officials may assess your shipment for customs duties and taxes.
